DPF Manager has been updated to version 3.2.

This new version includes several new features, improvements and some bug fixes.

 

New Features and improvements

  • Built installers for 32 and 64 bit architectures in both Windows and Linux
  • Save running task total time in report
  • New policy check: long edge check
  • Improved reports section, showing PDF reports stats, and browse report folder
  • Copiable text in report tooltips
  • More complete PDF reports
  • Clarified policies texts

 

Fixes

  • Filenames with non-standard characters
  • TIFF file structure IFD index bug
  • Wrong character encoding in metadata containers
  • Report not generated in some TIFF cases

 

Many of these new features and bug fixes have been reported in the Github issue tracker. Don’t hesitate to use it for any comment and suggestions!

The most significant one is the redesign of the reports section, where now it is easier (and much faster) to browse the analyzed reports, transforming between formats, and also converting a quick check to a full check. DPF Manager v3.3 released and available to download
We present a new update of the DPF Manager. This new version can be downloaded as usual from the PREFORMA Open Source Portal. This new version includes several improvements and fixes. One of the most interesting new features is the Statistics Module. This new section reports the most usual tags found in the analyzed files, as well as their values. Also from the ISOs validated, it is shown the errors that have been found ordered by frequency.
DPF Manager v3.2.1 released and available to download
The new version of DPF Manager is now ready to download from the PREFORMA Open Source Portal! This update solves some bugs that have been posted by the users in the Github issue tracker, and includes some enhancements. In addition, a new repository has been created to collect sample files to be used for testing and validation of the DPF Manager, and all the possible TIFF errors have been defined and classified.

Version 2.0 includes many new functionalities and improvements and is now ready to be downloaded on the PREFORMA Open Source Portal.
