5-7 November 2021: Living Digital Heritage Conference "Integrating the Past into the Present and Future" This event will explore the applications of digital and virtual reality techniques for experiencing, preserving, and understanding ancient cultural heritage. It will cover a range of digital methods and their application to heritage-related pursuits, with specific focus on the domain of Virtual Heritage. It will bring together practitioners, researchers, educators and developers with a shared passion for the deployment and usage and continued exploitation of digital technologies for the benefit of the world heritage. The event will be the occasion to present experiences, storytelling, digital heritage projects and case studies promoting collaborations between civil society and Institutes of research.The conference will be hold on line, the zoom links will be available a couple of days before the event. The conference is organized and hosted by the Centre for Ancient Cultural Heritage and Environment (CACHE). of the University of Macquarie which promotes collaborative research into the cultural heritage and environmental knowledge of past peoples, including Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
