Enriching Film Heritage Data with OpenRefine

Title: Sammlung der Medien und Wissenschaft

The webinar, organised by DFF (Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum) from 11am-12pm CEST on the 5th of July, will present an overview of using the open source tool OpenRefine for data enrichment and transformation. The data examples and thematic focus will be on film heritage and filmographic data. 

The webinar will explore how OpenRefine can be used to clean and enrich the existing information with the Reconciliation functionality, the process that allows data to connect and extend with public data sources like Wikidata. An outline of the data transformation via templating will complete the overview.
