NALIS Forum 2015 successfully concluded

The fourth NALIS Forum (Sofia, 12 May 2015) concluded successfully, attended by many international experts from leading libraries and library networks, museums, universities and cultural organisations. Among the special guests, delegates of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture. Antonella Fresa of Promoter SRL took part in the conference as invited speaker. Lecturers (from Europe and USA) shared their experience in local and global collaboration (not only within the library community, but also within the IT community) in the framework of projects involving the digitisation of cultural heritage, creative re-use of digitised cultural contents and citizen participation. The great Europeana Photography exhibition opened with a big launch event in Pisa, 11th April 2014.

All Our Yesterdays… welcome to Pisa!

The location of the exhibition is Palazzo Lanfranchi, a very prestigious exhibition centre, in an historical palace in the center of Pisa, on the Lungarno Galilei (the embankment of river Arno). Each photograph displayed in Palazzo Lanfranchi is printed with the most advanced printing techniques and on a very pure, cotton-based paper that enhances the photograph at its best. In order to attract the citizens to visit the exhibition and to engage the visitors, Collection Days are organized to digitize family photos and albums related to the timeframe of the project.
